PBX Systems LLC is pleased to offer the PBX Data Logger. This unit provides the user with expandable storage and filtering of NMEA data strings.
By utilizing off-the-shelf Compact Flash memory cards the unit is instantly ready to record as much as one gigabyte of data dependent on the size of memory card being used. The unit offers dual Asynchronous RS232 serial ports and two closure inputs, a user operated switch and a remote closure input. All data and closures are time tagged relative to each other.
Applications include simultaneous logging of navigation with sensor data (fathometer, gyrocompass, etc.) and remote unattended data logging. All operating parameters, including com port baud rate and message definitions, are stored on the Compact Flash card. Data can be easily read from the Compact Flash card on any Windows equipped PC using a Compact Flash card reader.
